I am very pleased with the piece itself, but not exactly with the way it was shipped. Nailing the legs to a wooden board for shipping caused one of the legs to split slightly and I had to use wood glue to fix it. And there was a tool kit included in the shipment for a chair (not what I ordered), so that was confusing. There was also no recommendation or instructions as to whether the top piece should be attached to the bottom.

Overall I like it very much. There were a few details that felt could have been better, such as the end of the legs seem not up to par with the rest of the piece. I purchased it with no finish and customized it with insiparation from vintage pot holder. light oak, antique jade wood stains, and black glossy header around the top cap. I can still smell the fesh wood sent getting in and out of it. Overall a solid lasting piece of furniture I can't imagine ever getting tired of. thanks Linda B./ indiana
